DOLOMITES. Surrounding the prized pine forest of Residence Mich in Val di Fiemme, Trentino's blooming garden. This is territory of great contrasts and breath-taking landscapes, crossed by the Dolomite, a natural UNESCO heritage site, and dotted with romantic lakes, like Lake Garda, Lake Caldonazzo and Levico Lake. A thermal region: the thermal centres of Comano, Garniga, Levico, Vetriolo, Roncegno, and nearby Val di Fassa are famous.
Trentino is a true outdoor gym, active all year round. Alpine and cross-country skiing, ice climbing, sled-dogging, snow walking, ice-skating, and much more besides during the winter season; free climbing, mountain biking, Nordic walking, trekking and a great many new sports for the summer months.
Trentino is the land of history and culture. The themed museums in the province are not to be missed: the Trento and Rovereto museum of modern and contemporary art, the Tridentino Museum of natural sciences at Trento, the Caproni Museum - Aeronautic, Science and Innovation at Mattarello, the Depero House of Futuristic art and the Italian historic war museum at Rovereto. The journey into history continues along to our castles, these untouched refuges where time has stood still: Buonconsiglio Castle in Trento, Castel Beseno in Besenello and Thun Castle in Val di Non.
The leaves of our pine forest, our Trentino, which play host to the flowers of wellbeing, culture, art, history and sport.
