The Val di Fiemme is not only appreciated by the "experts" of alpine and nordic skiing, but also by beginners who will be able to find ski slopes suitable for their needs! In addition, you mustn't forget all of the other winter sports that can be done in our wonderful valley: cross-country skiing, glacier climbing, "crampons". And, after a day out on the snow, you can take advantage of the numerous leisure facilities, and organised activities and events drawn from the traditions, history and culture of a region with such a strong identity
WINTER SPORT - ALPINE SKIING. Great skiing offered by 50 modern lift facilities and more than 100 km of slopes, perfectly prepared from December to April, thanks to the advanced snow-making system. The skipass Fiemme/Obereggen, associated to the Dolomiti Superski, gives access to th ski-areas Ski Center Latemar (Pampeago/Predazzo/Obereggen), Alpe cermis, Bellamonte/Alpe Lusia, Passo Lavazè/Oclini, Passo Rolle. The skipass allows free entrance to the public swimming pools and the ice-skating stadium and outdoor ice skating rinks.
- CROSS COUNTRY SKIING. The Val di Fiemme is the ideal resort for cross country skiing. From 18th February tho the 1st March 2003 the Nordic Ski World Championships were host for the second time. A great selection of cross country tracks, for a total of 150 km, are located at Passo Lavazè, Lago di Tesero (both provided with snow making system) and Bellamonte. Further tracks develop around the valley's hamlets, linked with the legendary Marcialonga track.
